JUNK & IM’PERETIV Complete Their Together In Pieces Journey with Fifth and Final Chapter, 'Together In Pieces V'
VANCOUVER, BC – TORONTO, ON | October 2026 — Vancouver rapper JUNK and award-winning Canadian producer IM’PERETIV have officially released Together In Pieces V, the fifth and final chapter of their collaborative Together In Pieces series. The project is now available on all major streaming platforms, featuring five original tracks and five accompanying instrumental versions.
The project closes a series that began in 2019 and has grown into a nearly decade-long creative partnership and follows a summer rollout of singles and the 555 Ontario Tour.
The project closes with “Tired of You Humans,” a confrontational and darkly humorous track that captures JUNK at his most unfiltered. The song takes aim at repetitive conversations, performative posturing, industry politics, vanity metrics and the pressures surrounding independent Hip Hop.
Beneath the aggression and humour, however, is a more personal theme: the desire to step away from the noise and protect one's peace. JUNK turns some of the criticism back on himself from the opening line, “Yea I’m tired of the humans, Me included, look,” acknowledging that the frustrations he explores are not entirely external.
The track moves between sharp wordplay, absurd imagery and observations about the music industry, ultimately landing on a desire for distance, independence and a return to the fundamentals. It reflects the same independent spirit that has shaped JUNK and IM’PERETIV's collaborative work throughout the years.
Produced entirely by IM’PERETIV, Together In Pieces V carries the gritty, cinematic production style that defines their collaboration, combining heavy drums, soulful and atmospheric samples and stark arrangements with JUNK's dense lyricism and distinctive delivery.
The five-track project features “Still Wealthy,” “Hantavirus” feat. Daniel Son, “Who’s in the Mirror,” “Out West” and “Tired of You Humans,” with instrumental versions of all five tracks also included.
Mixed and mastered by Jamie Kuse at Nova Studios, Together In Pieces V marks the end of one chapter while documenting a creative partnership that has continued to evolve across five projects, three tours and nearly a decade of collaboration.
Together In Pieces V is out now on all major streaming platforms.
