After first launching the Together in Pieces series in 2019, My Name Is Junk and award-winning Canadian producer IM'PERETIV reunite with "Still Wealthy," the lead single from their upcoming collaborative EP, Together in Pieces V.

Serving as a continuation of "Already Rich" from the original 2019 project, "Still Wealthy" reflects six years of artistic growth while staying rooted in the raw lyricism and soulful production that made the series resonate with underground hip-hop fans. Built around a cinematic piano progression, gospel-inspired saxophone sample, and hard-hitting drums, the record pairs JUNK's introspective writing with IM'PERETIV's signature boom bap sound.

The release brings together two respected independent artists with proven track records. Vancouver's Junk has amassed millions of streams, toured throughout Canada and Europe, shared stages with artists including Method Man & Redman, DJ Premier, Conway the Machine, Freddie Gibbs, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, Jack Harlow, Ludacris, Tech N9ne, and Action Bronson, while building a devoted international following through Household Records and years of relentless touring.

Joining him is London, Ontario based producer IM'PERETIV, recipient of the 2024 Forest City London Music Award for Producer of the Year, whose production has earned placements on Spotify Editorial playlists including NorthernBars, New Hip-Hop, Raw & Uncut, and Jazz Rap, while collaborating with artists such as Benny the Butcher, Mickey Factz, Rick Hyde, G4 Jag, Asun Eastwood, and JRoberts.

"Still Wealthy" marks the beginning of a five-single rollout, with a new release arriving every two weeks leading into the 555 Ontario Tour this September. The tour will see JUNK and IM'PERETIV perform across five Ontario cities in support of the five-track Together in Pieces V EP, bringing the project directly to fans as each chapter unfolds.
