New Mixtape: D’Angelo - Rhythm'N'Soul (In Loving Memory of Michael Eugene Archer) Mixed by DJ EAS

ree

What was originally planned as a completely normal Best Of Mixtape unfortunately became a Tribute Mixtape due to the tragic death of Neo-Soul legend D’Angelo.

D’Angelo not only influenced many artists such as Maxwell, Alicia Keys, Musiq Soulchild, Dwele, Frank Ocean, Anderson .Paak and H.E.R., he also helped create an entirely new music genre.

The mixtape Rhythm'N'Soul (In Loving Memory of Michael Eugene Archer) by DJ EASY features 51 tracks, including all his hits, some live performances, and super rare or previously unknown remixes. The line-up includes Busta Rhymes, The Roots, Kool G Rap, AZ, Method Man, Q-Tip, Slum Village, Common, Redman, Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill, BJ the Chicago Kid and more — with production by DJ Premier, Pete Rock, Beatminerz, Gonza, Sleepin Giant, DJ Krush, Amerigo Gazaway, Arkiv, Sam Champ and Adam Kay.

It also features an exclusive remix produced by e.kwality, featuring a verse by Boogie Bang. Together, they form the group RedEyeBlue.

About DJ EASY

In over 20 years DJ EASY is standing unshakeable behind the wheels of steel. The Berlin native knows exactly what he wants: "I always wanted to be a genuine artist with creative-ingenious music." Indeed, he has made it by now. His mixtapes are known far beyond the german boundaries. DJ EASY already collaborates with artists like GURU of GangStarr (R.I.P.), VADO, PAUL WALL, JOELL ORTIZ, PAPOOSE, REMY MA, AMERIE, SHONIE, RASHEEDA or MAINO and by now he’s also no stranger any more in the american music business.

DJ EASY doesn’t make just any mixtapes! He produces and mixes ingenious conceived sound carriers (e.g. Easy Listening or Pimpin Ain’t Easy) which will pop off out of neither stereo equipment. Worldwide "PIMPIN AIN’T EASY" was downloaded more than 2.5 million times, for example. But also as a Club-DJ MR. MIXTAPE consistendly takes the audience’s breath away at selected parties. We may be curious what’s coming up next! Now, that’s for sure: No matter if live or on CD, it’s going to be a feast for the ears.
