UK Producer Montao Proudly Presents the “2223” Music Video Featuring Masta Killa of Wu-Tang Clan

2223 is taken off Montao's studio album Echoes of the Cosmos which is out now:

Since the Deluxe release of his studio "Echoes of the Cosmos", Montao felt there was one track which still needed an extra light shone upon it, and that was "2223”,

also featuring an epic verse from Wu Tang Clan’s very own Masta Killa.

The track paint's the picture of a post apocalyptic dystopian vivid landscape, and has always screamed out for a visual accompaniment. This, alongside a homage to anime which the album celebrates throughout, affirmed a decision to match this music to the legendary cult movie that is "Akira”.

The track itself is a combination of Hiphop, EDM, and everything else in between.

With experimental cinematic production, building up to the incredible verse from Masta Killa, combined with Montao’s UK influenced unconventional sounds.

Montao said:

“This track was set out to be instrumental, but as the journey continues and develops so does the music….

I’ve always been a massive fan of Masta Killa, to me the most interesting member of Wu Tang Clan without a doubt. His vocals and signature style combined with the overall vision of '2223' has made it simply epic.

Now, taking it one step further and being able to also create the soundtrack to one of my all time favourite movies "Akira", has felt like a final piece of the puzzle.

Enjoy!”
