JRoberts Drops New Single "Celtic Connoisseur" (prod. by IM'PERETIV) + "Shamrocks & Machine Guns" [Deluxe Album]

Toronto lyricist JRoberts and producer IM’PERETIV are putting a bold exclamation mark on their acclaimed project Shamrocks & Machine Guns. Originally released on September 15, 2023, the album quickly made waves in Canada, debuting at #1 on the iTunes Hip-Hop/Rap charts and cementing itself as a standout in the underground.

Now, nearly two years later, the duo returns with the Digital Deluxe Edition, available everywhere as of September 12, 2025. This expanded release includes all the original tracks, their instrumental versions, clean edits, and one brand-new song: “Celtic Connoisseur.” The track—written and performed by JRoberts, produced by IM’PERETIV, mixed and mastered by Jamie Kuse, with artwork by NateButcherMedia—serves as the powerful final piece to the Shamrocks & Machine Guns saga.

Earlier this month, fans also got a taste of the Physical Deluxe Edition, released in partnership with BarsOverBS, which featured two unreleased songs, including “Celtic Connoisseur.” For collectors, this version is the only way to grab that exclusive extra joint before it disappears.
